Time Flies ?

Man time has really been flying by lately. I guess it's because I am just so busy. Jen, I thought the thermometer thing you posted was really good, anyways the last couple of weeks have flown by for us. With school, work, and everything else there is just not enough time in the day. Even now it is nearly midnight, and I am just taking a break from school work for a few minutes to post this.

Alec asked tonight while we were reading the scriptures if we could write our own Bible. I kind of laughed and then said, well we can't write a Bible, but we should certainly be writing a personal, and family journal. Amzaingly, he didn't jump up right that second and insist that we do it, but I am sure after explaining to him what a journal was we will be starting one soon, which will be good.

Anyways things are good out here in Oregon. I am really liking the BLOG thing, we just need to get more people linked up. Melanie, where is yours? Anyways, Janell, you will have to give me the site address to your Blog again, you are always posting on ours, and I want to respond but can't ever get back, Ohh, and by the way I think I will always be younger than you. LOL.

Happy Birthday to Me !

Last Saturday the 13th was my 29th Birthday. I was supposed to go to work, but at the last minute some friends called with tickets to the Oregon Ducks football game. Sooooo........

..............I called in sick, Darci got a babysitter for the day, and we went to the football game. It was a lot of fun, Oregon creamed Washington State 53-7. It was even sunny and although it wasn't warm, it wasn't cold either. The kids had a good time with friends that day too, so it was a win all around. Our friends Howie and Pam (in one of the pictures) went with us, or actually we went with them.

Tomatoes !!!!

My parents came out for conference weekend to visit with Sarah. We all a good time, and enjoyed the tomatoes Dad brought from his garden. They bought us a pressure cooker for an early Christmas gift, and showed us how to can them. It was fun, and much easier than I thought actually. We also went out to eat, and watched Alec play his weekly soccer game. Maybe soon we can get some pictures of him playing on here, but for now all we have is newly canned tomatoes. It was fun to have family here, sometimes we feel a bit lonely in Oregon, with everyone else in Idaho, except Jake and Shannon. We are excited to go and visit for Thanksgiving, hopefully there will be snow, but we will see. I also posted a picture of the kids, I think they were helping Darci make home-made pizza, I wasn't there so I am not 100% sure, but you can never get enough of them making silly faces, and funny poses. I especially like Hannah's "oversmile" it cracks me up.
