Those first few days after we found out that our boys had died the words to the primary song "Count your Blessings" kept going through my mind.
"Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your many blessings and see what God hath done".
We had made so many preparations both mentally and physically for these little angels to come, loosing them has left this strange unfinished space in our life, but... we know and have known from the beginning that this was not some grave medical error, that Heavenly Father sees the bigger picture and is taking care of them. There is peace in knowing that.
Some of our blessings: our children, each other, eternal families, extended family with beautiful talents, a ward family, being able to bury our boys where their great grandfather and great great grandfather are buried, best friends, being loved.
We want you all to know that we are doing well. I really feel like I am moving on. We have gorgeous weather and I started running again this week. Ben and I are closer, he has kept it together when I couldn't and protected me from the outside world when I wasn't brave enough to face anyone. I look at my children a little different now and I am a better mom for it.
We are so very thankful for all of the prayers that have been said in our behalf.
Thank you
