Normally this stuff doesn't bother me that much, but yesterday I got attacked from the least likely of sources. I added a history class about the ancient near east. I don't really need the class, but am interested in the subject and studying the Bible as a historical document, at any rate the professor of the class the other day said, "are you sure you can do all the coursework",
You might say that doesn't seem bad in itself, but after a multiple days of such comments, I was stuck in a rut at the end of the day, thinking what in the world am I doing? Can I really do all of this? After a break from the world, and just being able to relax, I realized, that those were not my thoughts, and I really do want to do this.
Anyways the reason for all this rambling is as a parent I am beginning to realize the importance of encouraging dreams, and possibilities, and teaching my kids that anything really is possible. I want to get a Doctorate Degree in History, and I am well on my way to getting it,. I don't know what my kids' dreams will be, but I am determined now to foster them and help them to grow.
I heard a quote once that says:
"You are the fellow who makes up your mind, whether you'll lead or will linger behind.
Whether you'll try for the goal that's afar or just be contented to stay where you are.
Take it or leave it, here's something to do, Just think it over it's all up to you!"

Here is a picture of Libbi Suzanne our youngest, can you believe she is almost 2 years old.
She is jabbering and yelling, and all over the house and yard, she especially likes to eat dirt, and get pretty much filthy. Darci thinks it's great. I call Libbi my little tank engine, cause she weighs I dunno... a lot. but she is a cutie......

Ben- I think what you're doing is great and that you should go for your dreams and ambitions as long as you never let it take priority over the most important role of your life; Being a good husband and dad :)
